Hello, dear friends:
I know it's been a long time for some of us; I hope all of you are happy and healthy and enjoying a good 2022!
After all these years of pandemic lockdowns, it's such a joy to make music with other people again! I just finished a wonderful run singing "Mabel" in The Pirates of Penzance with the Anchorage Opera; now it's time for something completely different, and something very close to my heart.
You may know about my recent work in cross-cultural collaboration around the world over the past few years. I have been very lucky to be able to travel and work with musicians all over Africa, Asia, and the Middle East.
This past year brought me to Uganda, where I spent over a month working on a program with musicians in Kampala. I wound up having my trip unexpectedly extended even further, due to some unforeseen circumstances. In this period, I started an independent, cross-cultural, cross-linguistic collaborative project with two incredible Ugandan musicians: singer, songwriter and guitarist Andereya Baguma and producer Joses Arins Emanzi.
This Kickstarter Campaign funds the project's completion this December in Uganda, to create a full EP album and show together.

Our "stretch goal" Phase 2 plans, to raise funds to tour our album and show in the US as well.
